Our mission is to empower underserved and physically disadvantaged youth by using soccer as a tool for personal growth, education, and social development. We wholeheartedly commit to this work with passion and dedication, transparently sharing it with our community and inviting others to take part. We also challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do. This mission represents what we are committed to accomplishing here at More than the Game.
Our Team


Gabe Smith (Co-Founder)
Gabe was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and has played soccer all his life. He currently attends Saint Ignatius College Prep, where he is the starting goalkeeper and captain of the varsity soccer team. He loves being a part of the GK union and wants to give back to the goalkeeping and soccer communities.
Will Hebbeln (Co-Founder)
Will Hebbeln was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and has played soccer for over a decade. He attends Saint Ignatius College Prep and is a member of the Varsity Boys soccer team. Will is also heavily involved in soccer outside of school and wants to help every soccer player have a great experience.
